Dave Austin from Maidstone fishing Puma Lake on 18th May 2005 from 8.00a.m.
until 4.00p.m. (short session because it was his birthday and the
Grandchildren were coming) with his home made Built Cane Rod and Centre Pin
Reel and a home made Avon Crowquill float and with his usual home made paste
caught 11 Golden Tench to 2lbs. - 7 Green Tench to 5lbs. - 4 Skimmer Bream.
- 2 Chub and 2 Ghost Carp the largest weighing 17lbs-9ozs.

Dave Austin from Maidstone fishing Puma Lake on Monday 11th April with a
Split Cane Avon Rod he built himself paired with a Allcock's Flickem
Perfection Centre Pin Reel caught 7 Carp up to 16.5 lbs along with one Green
and one Golden Tench on home made paste.
The line was 8lbs Maxima and the hooklength 8lbs Black
Dacron with a size 8 Japanese Barbless Hook.
