GENERAL RULES

  • All nets, mats & weigh-slings brought onto the fishery must be bone dry

  • Cars may be used on fishery but ONLY for unloading or loading tackle

  • No dogs

  • No bait boats

  • BBQs may be used but ONLY if raised off ground & not before 6pm

  • No keepnets, EXCEPT in matches

  • ALL anglers must have a landing net

  • No sacking of carp - ALL fish to be returned to the water immediately in net or sling

  • No fixed leads

  • Barbless hooks only

  • No live bait or spinning on lakes

  • No nuts or beans unless supplied by Monk Lakes

  • No refunds

  • ALL anglers must be in possession of a National Rod Licence

  • No braided main line or lead core

  • Ball games and anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated - offenders will be banned

  • A charge will be levied for non-anglers - genuine visitors accepted

  • Large fish may only be photographed at mat level

  • Please use the litter bins for your lines and litter

MALLARD LAKE RULES

  • Prior booking only - by calling the shop on: 01622 833 332.

  • No Juniors

  • Minimum 42" landing net

  • Minimum 12lb b/s line Large padded unhooking mat

MATCH RULES

  • 50lb max per keep net with a 10lb tolerance

  • No swinging fish to hand

  • No bloodworm, joker or floating baits. No pre-baiting

  • No fishing over the ropes or beyond halfway to the next peg or 6 metres if on an end peg

  • All nets and tackle must be bone dry at start

  • No coaching

  • Hook lengths to be minimum of 10 inches below the float

  • Barbless hooks only

  • No floating poles

  • No walking across the bridges during a match if the pegs next to the bridge are in use

  • 8 pints of loose feed bait allowed at your peg. On top of this you are allowed 2kg of groundbait and 1kg of worms (not bloodworms or joker)
