Lake 2 on this scenic fishery is known for producing big catches of barbel and other species for visiting pleasure and match anglers and over the seasons, after being introduced into the lakes, have grown rapidly in size and numbers to produce some of the most fantastic sport and pole bending action.
Russ Evans approaches this DVD match style using baits such as worms, casters, maggots and meat plus a few revealing tips, additives and tricks on how to keep the fish coming towards your landing net.
The Obsesses Angler may well be targeting barbell but all in all nine species of fish are caught in the making of this programme and that is good fishing by anyone’s standards.
